v.0.5.6 Polishing Update


These past two weeks have been focused on polishing up the first floor of the game which will also bleed into subsequent floors. Explaining all of the details will be too long so I will highlight some of the major polishing features here.

Completed:

  • Room modifiers implemented
  • Impact effects
  • Elevator door visuals and animations
  • New mind room UI visuals and layouts
  • Intro, intermediate, and end cutscenes for boss 1
  • Extra boss 1 animations and improved flow and feel
  • Implemented attack sprites for the player
  • New ability to unlock
  • Implemented floor 1 weapon ability
  • Art for the floor 1 side quests

Still needs work:

  • Even more abilities
  • Choosing a save file
  • Choose to progress to the next floor
  • Balancing
