Saving and the Elevator Room (v0.3.6)


This past week (ish) I've been working on the save/load system which leads into the elevator room, both of which are now finished! The full list of changes include:

  • Players can now save and load the game via the corresponding options in the elevator room.
  • The game will automatically load the most recent save file on startup.
  • Elevator Shop!!! - Players can buy a limited amount of items from the shop at the cost of emotional energy.

Coming up this week my main focus is to incorporate a lockout for each room so players can't traverse to a new one until they defeat all the enemies in the current room :)
